Individual Donations

At Habitat for Humanity - New York City, a large portion of our funding comes from individual donations. From the dollar sent to us by a school child to a large gift from a major donor, each and every donation supports our efforts to build homes with families in need in New York City. You can submit and dedicate your credit card gifts through our secure site.

Matching Gifts
Did you know that a matching gift could double or triple your donation? Many corporations will match employee or retiree gifts. Obtain a Matching Gift Form from your human resources office and include it with your donation. Be sure to fill out and sign the donor section before sending in the form. Some companies have an on-line matching gift procedure.

Celebration Gifts
As you plan gifts for family and friends this year, consider a gift that keeps on giving long after the wedding, anniversary, birthday, graduation, holiday or other special event or memorial. Upon receipt of your contribution, we will send an acknowledgment card indicating that you have made a gift to Habitat for Humanity - New York City in honor of, or in memory of, the person you are celebrating. Be sure to include the name and address of the person who will receive the card, whether you are donating online through our secure server or sending in a check with our form.

Foundation Builders Society
A monthly or quarterly pledge can help keep us building all year round. We can automatically deduct your pledge from a credit card, or bill you on a periodic basis. You can sign up online by clicking on the recurring donation button on our secure server.
