In celebration of Black History Month, HYP NYC partners with AFROPUNK and the Brooklyn Museum to host our 2nd Annual Advocacy Leadership Training Seminar. If you’re new to civic engagement, interested in learning about government relations, or ready to mobilize as an advocate or activist then this is the perfect first step!

Special guests include Habitat NYC’s Katrell Lewis, Senior Manager of Advocacy & Community Engagement, NYC Census 2020’s Kathleen Daniel (and more) join us to discuss the history of housing discrimination and how it impacts access to affordable housing in NYC. Presenters will then host breakout sessions to answer your questions and get you all the info you need to mobilize.
