OCTOBER 12, 2013 - Former President Jimmy Carter stopped by Staten Island on Friday to thank volunteers for their rebuilding efforts since Hurricane Sandy. Carter, joined by his wife, Rosalynn, spoke to a crowd of hundreds that gathered at Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George to end a week-long project in the borough.
OCTOBER 11, 2013 - Former President Jimmy Carter and his wife, Rosalynn, were in St. Albans on Friday, helping to refurbish a one-family house in a joint effort of the Carter Work Project and Habitat for Humanity.
OCTOBER 11, 2013 - Country music stars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood joined President and Mrs. Carter and nearly 3,000 volunteers this week to help build, renovate and repair 86 homes in Oakland and San Jose, Calif.; Denver; New York City; and Union Beach, N.J. as part of Habitat For Humanity's 30th annual Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project.
